Douglas Hurst

Mr. Hurst has over 30 years of experience in the mining and natural resource industries, having acted as geologist, consultant, mining analyst, senior executive and board member. Mr. Hurst was previously a mining analyst with McDermid St. Lawrence and Sprott Securities and a contract analyst to Pacific International Securities and Octagon Capital. Mr. Hurst was one of the founders of Newmarket Gold Inc., which was acquired by Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd. for $1.0-billion in 2016. In addition, Mr. Hurst was a founding executive of International Royalty Corp., which was acquired by Royal Gold for $700-million. Mr. Hurst holds a bachelor of science in geology from McMaster University.

Andy Wallace

Mr. Wallace is a principal of Cordilleran Exploration Company ("Cordex"). Founded by the legendary John Livermore, co-discoverer of the Carlin mine (Nevada Gold Mines), Cordex is credited with the discovery of nine gold mines in Nevada, several of which are still in production today. Andy joined Cordex in the 70's and five of those discoveries occurred under his management, including the Marigold mine (SSR Mining), the Lone Tree/Stonehouse mine (Nevada Gold Mines), the Daisy mine (Coeur Mining), the Sterling mine (Coeur Mining) and the Dee mine. Dr. Wallace is a Certified Professional Geologist (CPG) with the American Institute of Professional Geologists. He completed a B.S. in geology at Eastern New Mexico University, an M.S. in geology at the University of Texas at El Paso, and a PhD in geology at the Mackay School of Mines at the University of Nevada, Reno

Derek White

Mr. White is President & CEO of Ascot Resources and has 35 years of experience in the mining and metals industry. Prior to Ascot, Derek was President and CEO of KGHM International Ltd. where he was responsible for the construction of the $1.2 billion Sierra Gorda copper mine in Chile.  Mr. White also held the positions of Executive Vice President, Business Development and Chief Financial Officer of Quadra FNX Mining Ltd. from 2004 to 2012. He holds an undergraduate degree in Geological Engineering from the University of British Columbia and is also a Chartered Accountant. 

Jamie Robinson

Griffon Technical Advisor

From 1992 to 1997, Mr. Robinson was the exploration manager of Alta Gold Co. (“Alta”), the former operator of the Griffon mine, and is credited with the discovery of the Hammer Ridge deposit at Griffon. More recently, Jamie has provided geological consulting services to several exploration companies working in the same region as Griffon (the White Pine Range), including Contact Gold Corp., who is advancing the Green Springs gold project, and Elko Mining Group, who is advancing the Mt. Hamilton gold project. Mr. Robinson is a registered professional geologist in Utah, Idaho, and Arizona. Jamie completed a B.S. in geology at Ohio University, a M.S. in geology at the University of Southern California, and a Ph.D. in geology at Cornell University. In addition, Mr. Robinson has published numerous papers on gold projects in eastern Nevada, including one on the Griffon mine. Past producing gold mines in the White Pine Range include Griffon, Green Springs, Mt. Hamilton, and Illpah. Fiore Gold Ltd.’s Pan mine and Gold Rock project are in the same geologic setting just west of the White Pine Range.
